Mad Radish, a healthy fast casual restaurant specializing in bowls, burritos, and salads, is set to open its sixth Toronto location at 171 East Liberty Street in Liberty Village.

The company’s newest location will open on February 18, 2026, and spans 1,476 square feet, according to 6ix Retail. Liberty Village has increasingly shifted toward health-focused food and fitness concepts, making it a natural fit for the growing chain. Customers can expect customizable bowls, burritos, salads, sandwiches, and catering options.

Founded in 2017 in downtown Ottawa, Mad Radish now operates 11 locations across Ontario. Toronto restaurants include two PATH locations at Bay Adelaide Centre and Exchange Tower, along with street-level spots on Bloor Street, King and Yonge, and in East York at 45 Wicksteed Avenue. The Liberty Village restaurant marks the brand’s sixth Toronto location and reflects its continued focus on urban neighborhoods.

Liberty Village is home to approximately 55,000 residents across more than 40 condominium buildings, with a median age in the early 30s and individual incomes ranging from about $98,000 to $110,000. The neighborhood has evolved into a hub for fitness and wellness, anchored by operators such as Altea Active, STRONG Pilates, OHA Wellness, F45 Training, and several yoga studios. A planned Exhibition Ontario Line station is also expected to connect the area further in the coming years.

The menu features globally inspired bowls, such as the Bombay Spice Bowl and Thai Chili Bowl, along with build-your-own options. Customers can choose from halal, vegetarian, and vegan proteins, housemade dressings, and a variety of grains and greens. Sandwiches, soups, smoothies, andfamily-stylee trays are also available.

Mad Radish launched franchising in 2023, initially focusing on Ottawa suburbs and Toronto’s downtown core, before targeting residential neighborhoods with mixed office and after-hours demand. In 2025, franchise rights for Alberta were announced, with Calgary identified as the first western market.
