Prince Street Pizza plans to open its second Toronto restaurant in the former Cibo Wine Bar space at 2472 Yonge Street, Over Here Toronto reports.

Coming-soon signage has appeared at the property near Yonge and Eglinton, but an opening date has not been announced. Cibo closed the restaurant in early 2025 after a decade in the neighborhood.

The chain entered Toronto in 2023 with its restaurant at The Well, at 472 Front Street West. The Yonge Street shop would expand the brand’s presence into midtown.

Prince Street Pizza began in New York City in 2012, using recipes from the Morano family. It now operates more than 20 restaurants across the United States and Canada, including locations in Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and Toronto.

The brand is part of Best Buddy Hospitality, led by CEO Lawrence Longo. The group also operates Irv’s Burgers, Bar Next Door, and Sparky’s Sports Bar.

The existing Toronto restaurant serves Sicilian-style square pizzas and round pies, available by the slice or whole. Its menu includes the Spicy Spring, a pepperoni pizza with fra diavolo sauce, alongside salads, sides, and desserts. The kitchen prepares its sauces from scratch each day.
