Palmetto Superfoods is headed to Brea Mall as part of the property’s ongoing multimillion-dollar redevelopment.
The health-focused eatery is among 11 new retail and dining concepts announced for the Orange County shopping center’s latest expansion. Palmetto Superfoods is expected to open during the mall’s fall 2026 interior redevelopment alongside Pop Mart, Onigilly, Caitlyn Minimalist, SOLES ART, N.CAT, Fat Daddy Chicken, Mr. Inkwells and several other new tenants.
Founded in Southern California, Palmetto Superfoods specializes in customizable Brazilian acai bowls, pitaya bowls and nutrient-dense smoothies made with plant-based ingredients. The brand has steadily expanded throughout California by catering to customers seeking healthier grab-and-go meal options.
The new location is part of Brea Mall’s broader transformation, which also includes the recent opening of Life Time, an 85,000-square-foot luxury athletic club, and the upcoming arrivals of Din Tai Fung and Kalbi Social Club later this summer.
The redevelopment will ultimately add 377 luxury apartment homes by 2028, creating a mixed-use destination that combines shopping, dining, entertainment and residential living.
An opening date for Palmetto Superfoods has not yet been announced beyond the planned fall 2026 timeframe.
