Fall is bringing new opportunities for a beloved DC bakery. A Baked Joint is wrapping up its 10 year tenure at its current location and moving in with its sister concept, La Betty, later this year, reports local media outlet PoPville.

Fortunately for fans of the DC institution, the bakery isn’t moving far-in fact, fans won’t even need to change their morning rituals to grab their favorite biscuits. A Baked Joint is currently located at 430 K Street NW, and La Betty is just a hop, skip, and a jump away at 420 K Street, NW.

A social media post on A Baked Joint’s Instagram page announcing the relocation states the move will happen this September. Ownership assures loyal customers and future regulars alike that the essence of A Baked Joint will remain unchanged, however some exciting changes are ahead. They state: “This new chapter will bring a refreshed and reimagined A Baked Joint — still rooted in the things you love most (yes, the biscuits are coming with us!) and will cohabitate with your fav vinyl listening room / wine bar, la Betty.“

A Baked Joint prides itself on its baked-on-site bread, and in providing simple but delicious versions of bakery favorites. The eatery offers a pretty extensive menu comprised of sandwiches, salads, soups, and its celebrated biscuits.
