A new restaurant called Almeda will open later in October in DC at a spot that used to be occupied by Little Vietnam.

Owner Danielle Harris, who also runs Little Food Studio, told What Now DC that Almeda is an Afro-fusion concept that will operate as a coffee shop by day and an Afro-fusion restaurant by night.

Harris didn’t reveal further details about the restaurant or layout, but more information is expected to be announced soon.

Little Food Studio, which is located at 849 Upshur Street near Almeda, serves breakfast and pastries, sandwiches, and salads.
