The Cove, a tropical beer garden and brewery, is set to open within weeks in Navy Yard, according to Eat DC, an online account that posts restaurant news and food reviews.
The bar is the latest concept by the B Social Hospitality team, which runs several multi-faceted restaurants and bars in DC and Virginia, including The Lot and Rebel Taco. B Social Hospitality has been founded in 2021 by couple Mike and Christal Bramson.
The Bramsons secured a 45,000-square-foot waterfront space at the Navy Yard for The Cove, which was initially set to open in spring 2023, according to B Social Hospitality’s website.
The new beer garden and brewery will be located at 25 Potomac Avenue SE, replacing Bardo Brewing. The Cove will make and serve its own line of hard seltzers and craft beer, Christal Bramson told Eater DC in January 2022.
