A new Italian restaurant called Corso is coming to Arlington in early December with a flair for Italian-American cuisine and popular specialties.

Corso is the latest concept by Jill Erber, owner of the wine bar and cheese shop Cheesetique which has locations in Del Ray and Shirlington.

Erber is partnering with Cathal Armstrong— founder of Restaurant Eve who runs other concepts such as Kaliwa and Hummingbird— to operate the new Italian restaurant which will open at 4024 Campbell Ave. Arlington, according to the Washingtonian.

The new restaurant will serve a variety of pasta dishes and secondi. The menu will also include bone-in veal parmesan and rosemary-scented bistecca alla Fiorentina, Chicken Vesuvio, and seafood dishes.

Corso will feature a front window through which guests can see chefs making handmade pasta and using it for preparations such as carbonara with housemade guanciale.

What Now DC reached out by phone to Jill Erber for additional and is yet to hear back.
