After 25 years of feeding satisfied customers, a DC-favorite restaurant is getting another location. Alero, beloved for its Mexican cuisine and happy hours, is opening a restaurant on H Street, reports popular Twitter feed @eat_dc.

The concept will be greeting customers at its new home at 1301 H Street NE. According to paperwork filed with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration, the building will be able to accommodate up to 200 customers. Alero’s new location will allow diners with a passion for people watching to enjoy their food outdoors; it will feature sidewalk seating for up to 40 patrons.

Alero will be open Sunday through Thursday, from 9 am to 2 am and Friday through Saturday from 9 am to 3 am.

Alero’s menu features a wide range of Mexican favorites, including tacos, burritos, chimichangas, and tamales. The over 21 crowd can look forward to sampling an impressive selection of margaritas.
