One of the DMV’s busiest restaurateurs is getting ready to welcome diners into his next great endeavor. Reese Gardner-never content to rest on his laurels-is bringing a new concept called Juleps Kentucky Tavern to Ashburn, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The restaurant will be bringing delicious southern cuisine to 43781 Central Station Drive. Juleps Kentucky Tavern will be the first activity the space has seen since the former occupant, Blackfinn Ameripub, shut down in May of last year.

The eatery will offer bar and communal seating in its 6,500 square feet space.

Gardner is hoping to pay homage to Kentucky’s rich history and culture of food and drink. As one might expect based on the name, Juleps will prominently feature the titular drink and will offer an impressive range of bourbons.

Visitors hoping to enjoy a meal have plenty to look forward to as well; the menu will include Southern staples like a signature Jalapeño Honey Fried Chicken and a hot brown sandwich.

The deal between Gardner and Loudoun Station is still very fresh, making an opening timeline impossible to project. However Juleps’ arrival is certain to inspire enthusiasm in Ashburn foodies. Gardner states his hopes for the concept, telling Patch: “Juleps Kentucky Tavern will be a warm and inviting gathering place that pays tribute to Kentucky’s rich traditions—from its bourbon heritage to its welcoming spirit. We’re creating an experience rooted in comfort, character, and community.”
