Good beer and delectable dining are preparing to alight at one of Virginia’s busiest airports. Atlas Brew Works, notable for its solar-powered production model, will be opening a new location at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, reports Axios D.C.
Travelers will be able to enjoy the brewery’s signature lagers and ales, as well as healthy meal options when it opens at 2401 Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Access Road later this year. A representative for Atlas Brew Works confirmed to What Now DC that the eatery does not have a definitive opening date yet, but is aiming for a late summer debut.
Launched in 2013, Atlas Brew Works has made a name for itself in the craft beer world with its distinctive takes on lagers and IPAs. The company takes a sustainable approach to crafting one of the world’s favorite beverages, relying on solar power and striving to leave as little a carbon footprint as possible.
Customers eager to sample Atlas’s offerings can visit one of the company’s DC locations currently in operation. The brewery is pouring pints in Ivy City and the Navy Yard.
