Ah, Paris. The City of Lights has long captured hearts and imaginations through its delicious cheeses, amazing wines, and-of course- its distinctive cafes. While unfortunately a hot cup of French coffee is relatively inaccessible to many, a local father-and-daughter duo are making it easier for Leesburg locals to enjoy the elegance and calm of a Parisian cafe. Adel and Samara Kebaish have filed construction permits for Beau Jour De Ma Vie, a brand new bakery and coffee shop, with hopes for a late summer opening, reports local media outlet FFXNow.
The concept will be taking over a 2,600 square foot ground-floor storefront at 7787 Leesburg Pike. De Ma Vie will offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with space for around 50 guests in the two interior dining rooms and 30 additional customers can enjoy their coffee al fresco.
Samara is handling much of the design work for the cafe. Her vision for the space includes an open format kitchen and a general air of elegance-Samara wants her future regulars to enjoy an upscale atmosphere while paying reasonable prices.
De Ma Vie will offer a regular menu featuring gelato and all of the baked goods foodies have come to expect from a French bakery, including croissants, macarons, eclairs, and freshly prepared crepes.
Adel Kebaish explains that in addition to these regular offerings, De Ma Vie will have a rotating menu: “Two items will be added every week from different locations, from Italy, for example, from the Middle East, from Portugal. So, she’s going to add two items every week and replace them with another item.”
A precise opening date is not yet available for De Ma Vie. The Kebaishes are waiting for an occupancy permit and are targeting a late August or September opening.
