DC foodies, prepare your tastebuds for your newest dining obsession. BeBop Korean-Mexican Grill is bringing its unique fusion of the titular cuisines to the neighborhood, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The restaurant, which has already made a splash in Virginia and Maryland, is moving into the space at 3728 Georgia Avenue, NW that last housed Burgerim. An opening timeline is not currently available for BeBop; the restaurant’s website lists its DC location as “opening soon” and a sign has been hung outside the building. However the interior still contains Burgerim signage.

BeBop currently has three open locations; one in Fairfax and one in Ashburn in Virginia and Catonsville, Maryland. In addition to the DC storefront, the concept is planning a restaurant in Haymarket, Virginia.

BeBop promises to provide DC diners with a truly unique night out. The brand describes itself aptly on its website, stating “Rooted in classic tradition, we provide customers with an elegant and vibrant dining atmosphere and, making every meal with us an unforgettable experience. You can even try Halal at Bebop Ashburn.”

The vast menu offers visitors plenty to choose from, including but not limited to burgers, chicken wings, tacos, quesadillas, and cheesesteaks. Guests can wash their meal down with a range of boba teas.
