A top DC pop-up is hatching plans for a permanent home. Monstera Burrito, whose delicious cuisine has earned it a devoted Georgetown following, is working on a stand-alone restaurant, reports Axios D.C.

Monstera has not yet revealed the location of its new home. A post on the concept’s Instagram explains that the eatery’s popularity inspired it to seek out new digs, where it can provide regular service: “…it seems as though we have outgrown our funky little home and want to give the people what they want: Burritos all day, pretty much every day! And that’s what we are doing!”

Monstera Burrito sprung from the mind and kitchen of Chef Alex McCoy, known for his work at Lucky Buns. His West Coast inspired fare has regularly drawn long lines at Sara’s Market, often selling out completely. Monstera will continue holding pop-ups, so future customers eager to sample the eatery’s unique approach to the titular dish can stop into Sara’s Market every other Saturday and Sunday.
