Loudoun breakfasts are about to get a bagel boost. BKD Bagels plans to open a third location in Fort Evans Plaza II in spring of 2024, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The eatery will be occupying 4,000 square feet at 500 Fort Evans Road. While the facility will, of course, allow customers to order and dine-in, the large area will also serve as a production facility. BKD plans to bake the lion’s share of the bagels sold not only in Loudoun but also in the Leesburg and Purcellville stores. The brand believes that a central bakery will allow it to ensure uniformity across the product, as well as creating opportunities to try out new flavors and varieties.

BKD is hoping to begin serving guests at its Loudoun location in April of 2024. Once open, the store will provide both indoor and outdoor seating, and will feature a full coffee bar.

BKD Bagels offers a vast menu. In addition to a wide range of the titular carbs, the restaurant features an impressive assortment of sandwiches and allows customers to craft their own bespoke sandwiches.

What Now DC has reached out to BKD Bagels for comment but has not yet received a response.
