Carla Hall, a chef and restauranteur, is currently working on a new restaurant concept to be located in The Reeves Center’s up-and-coming project, located at 2000 14th St NW, confirmed by Hall.

“I just recently found out that the bid was accepted, Hall told What Now Washington DC, “The restaurant is an entirely blank slate. The building won’t be ready for another three years or so.”

The establishment aims to provide delicious, Southern-inspired cuisine while fostering a welcoming and casual atmosphere for all patrons. Hall’s deep connection to her local community serves as a guiding principle in her culinary endeavors.

Having previously operated her catering business in the area, Hall reminisces about the days when she would venture out with her catering baskets, selling sandwiches to eager customers. This endeavor held tremendous significance for her, and she speaks fondly of those experiences. Now, with the upcoming opening of her restaurant, Hall looks forward to building upon this foundation of community engagement, according to her interview with NBC Washington.
