A prime piece of Richmond real estate is trading out martial arts for Mediterranean eats. Cava, known for filtering the fast-casual experience through a healthier lens, is moving into Glen Allen next year, reports local media outlet Richmond.com.

The increasingly popular chain will be moving into 9964 Brook Road, in a space previously occupied by Master Cho’s. While a precise opening date is not currency available for Cava’s latest DMV location, the concept is anticipating a first quarter of 2025 opening.

Founded in 2006, Cava established itself as a unique voice in the fast-casual dining scene through its distinctive spin on Mediterranean cuisine. The concept offers healthier options via bowls, salads, and pitas. While the restaurant offers house recipes, it also allows customers to curate their own dining experience, assembling the perfect meal by selecting the ideal ingredients.

Cava has found considerable success in the fast-casual dining world, expanding to include around 371 locations nationally.
