A celebrated DC restaurant is preparing to make a big move. Seven Reasons, one of the District’s most popular Latin-American dining spots, will be moving from 14th Street to a new home in City Center, reports local media outlet PoPville.

Seven Reasons has officially shut-down operations at its original location, where it has served customers since 2019. A precise opening date is not yet available for when the restaurant will begin feeding guests at its new location at 931 H Street NW. However, signage for the eatery has been spotted at the City Center building, and the Seven Reasons website projects a December opening, despite the absence of an exact, named day.

The website states “The team is taking this time to regroup, reimagine, and prepare for a grand reopening at a fresh locale at City Center, 931 H St NW, Washington, DC,” adding  “The move signifies a new phase for Seven Reasons, one that promises innovation, culinary delights, and a continuation of the exceptional experience patrons have come to expect.”

The City Center location is a massive mixed-use development that should invite more foot traffic by the restaurant.

Seven Reasons provides a canvas for chef Enrique Limardo’s distinctive interpretations of classic Latin-American cuisine. Described as “an immersive dining experience”, the restaurant relies on locally sourced ingredients, which necessitates periodic alterations to the menu.  However, guests can look forward to dishes like Latin Falafel, Cauliflower Gnocchi, and Lamb Loin Palo a Pique.
