An upcoming DFW lounge is getting closer to opening its doors and inviting locals to enjoy an upscale night out. Cielo, a new concept from Michael Sina that aims to bring adult refinement to the Clarendon nightlight, has filed for a liquor license and is aiming to open next month, reports local media outlet ARLNow.

The establishment’s opening at 1137 North Highland Street will be the culmination of over a year of waiting. Cielo initially filed for the permits needed to transform the second story storefront from The G.O.A.T. sports bar in July of 2024.

A precise opening date is not yet available for Cielo, however Sina anticipates being customer-ready by mid-April.

Cielo promises to bring a welcome dose of sophistication to the area nightlife. Visitors will be able to enjoy a menu populated by elevated options including unexpected choices like a French-style omelet with caviar and tomahawk steaks.

Of course the drink menu will also reflect Cielo’s commitment to a higher standard. Bar options will heavily favor carefully crafted cocktails that prioritize flavor.

Cielo’s food and drink options are all in service of creating a sophisticated experience many have been hungry for. Sina explains: “We are going to kind of try and bring back a little elevated experience to Arlington at the same time. We will be a nightclub at nighttime, so we will have that lounge effect, but we are trying to cater to a little bit more elevated crowd.”
