A popular local family-owned and operated bakery is continuing and expanding its sweet legacy in 2025. Classic Bakery will be opening its third storefront, this time in Olney, next year, reports local media outlet Taste DMV.

The concept will be completing its hat trick at 18195 Village Center Drive, a space that previously housed a Cold Stone Creamery. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Classic Bakery is projecting a mid to late first quarter of 2025 opening for its newest Maryland home.

Classic Bakery has established a small but formidable presence in the DMV. The eatery currently has locations up and feeding satisfied customers in Tysons, Virginia and Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Classic Bakery has passed through several generations of bakers, starting with a patriarch referred to lovingly as Grandpa Souren. The establishment offers a unique perspective on baked goods, taking inspiration from Persian, Armenian, French, Danish, Greek, and Arabic methods.
