A DMV favorite coffee chain is leading Dupont Circle java fans in the right direction. Compass Coffee is working on a new location on P Street, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The prolific cafe is under construction in the former home of Soho Tea & Coffee at 2150 P Street, NW. A precise opening date is not yet available for Compass’s newest home, however CEO Michael Haft predicts a spring arrival.

Founded in 2014, Compass Coffee has established itself as a DMV-area staple. The chain has earned a devoted fan-following thanks to its commitment to “real good coffee”-which the company website describes as “more than a slogan. It’s more than just our founding mission. It’s a mantra. A promise to you.”

Compass strives to create a welcoming community environment in each of its cafes, where ethically-sourced ingredients unite customers in a shared experience-a delicious cup of coffee. The chain now has 23 locations spread across Virginia and DC.
