One of the DMV’s most exciting upcoming culinary experiences is getting ready to make its debut. After more than a year of anticipation, The Angie, a European-American fusion concept from hospitality heavy hitters Joe Ragonese, Stefanos Vouvoudakis and Tom Tsiplakos, will be opening its doors this spring, reports Eater Washington DC.

The restaurant will be occupying a 5,700 square foot space at 3901 Fairfax Drive. The ground-floor storefront will prominently feature operable windows that will allow diners to enjoy the Ballston breeze as they savor a delicious meal.

The Angie is, in part, masterminded by ForFive Coffee founders Stefanos Vouvoudakis and Tom Tsiplakos, so it should come as no surprise that the concept will incorporate some amazing java drinks. The restaurant will have a barista bar for those who need a caffeine boost during their morning routine.

Additionally, The Angie will feature a full bar, a lounge, and a dining room that will be able to accommodate up to 162 visitors.

While a precise opening date is not yet available, the countdown is officially on. The Angie anticipates being customer-ready this May.
