Ground has broken on what promises to be Loudoun County seafood fans’ next great dining obsession. Ford’s Fish Shack has begun construction, with an eye towards an autumn opening, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The concept is mid-construction on its third location at 25411 Eastern Market Plaza, Suite 100. Ford’s Fish Shack will share the new building with two other as-of-yet unannounced businesses. Framework for the restaurant is up, and construction appears to be moving swiftly. However, future customers still have a little bit to wait before diving into Ford’s cuisine.

Speaking on the opening timeline, owner Tony Stafford states “We are still planning on a fall opening. With that being said, there is still a lot that needs to get done. Our Ford’s On The Road trailer is there every Friday to Sunday from 12 noon to 8:30 p.m. Our loyal fans can come by and check out the progress for themselves.”

Ford’s currently has two open locations, one in Lansdowne and one in Ashburn.
