Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar will soon expand to Old Town at 716 King Street, confirmed by one of its owners Erin Stuber.

“We are so excited to be opening in Old Town, and we love this area and the community,” Stuber told What Now DC, “Our goal is to be opening at the end of July or the first week of August, depending on construction.”

“We are locally owned and operated, and the menu will be the same overall for this location. We will have a specialty shake just for Alexandria, which is based around George Washington, and cherries, and the name will be By George! There will be custom jars for events, and we will be announcing our Old Town-specific jar once we are closer, but it will have the Alexandria waterfront, a Virginia license plate, and the Old Town skyline as a part of the art,” Erin also shared.

Crazy Mason is affectionately described as an artistic, over-the-top, crazy creation, according to the company website. Their menu offerings differ per location but fall under the four categories of Crazy Masons (milkshakes), Crazy Waffles, Crazy Bombs (ice cream sandwiches), and Crazy Desserts. Each milkshake comes with a jar that customers are able to bring back home.

They will also be hosting fundraisers, called spirit nights, for local schools and non-profits. Whatever is raised that night will be donated back, instead of the raised sales amounts.
