2024 promises to be an exciting year for Ashburn residents with a hankering for Cuban cuisine. Cubasi Bistro is moving from its Sterling home to a new location in the Moorefield Village retail center, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The popular restaurant will begin serving authentic Cuban dishes in suite 150 at 22556 Amendola Terrace next year. Cubasi Bistro just finalized its deal with the new location and has not yet announced when it intends to shut down its Sterling location. Additionally, the new, Ashburn space requires considerable renovation before Cubasi can move in, making it likely the eatery won’t open its new home until mid-2024.

Cubasi Bistro’s move is motivated in part by fiscal considerations. The Ashburn space is more cost effective than the location in Sterling.

The eatery earned an avid fan base with its large portions of genuine Cuban food. The restaurant offers guests a wide range of appetizers, sandwiches, bowls, and a variety of entrees. While the menu is pretty meat-heavy, there are a few vegetarian options.
