Beer is making its triumphant return to a Silver Spring building, thanks to a DC-based concept. Dacha Beer Garden is taking over the space previously occupied by Denizens Brewing Co., and locals will be able to stop in for a pint later this year, reports local media outlet Bethesda Magazine.
Dacha is working its way through the county permitting process for its new 1115 East West Highway home. Openings are always moving targets and it is difficult to anticipate how long permitting may take, however owner Ilya Alter is hopeful that the establishment will be ready to serve customers this summer.
The Silver Spring location will be Dacha’s third, joining spaces in Navy Yard and Shaw on the brand’s roster. Future customers can look forward to enjoying the beers promised by the concept’s name, but also a wide range of cocktails. Dacha also offers food, so visitors who come hungry can rest assured they will leave full and satiated.
