A fresh take on all-day dining is making its way to Bethesda, courtesy of a brand founded by a certified hospitality juggernaut. Daily Provisions, a restaurant from proven concept hitmaker Danny Meyer, is coming to the Charles apartment building, reports journalist Robert Dyer.
Daily Provisions, which describes itself as “your neighborhood cafe with everything you need throughout the day to dine in or take away”, is setting up shop on the ground floor of 7340 Wisconsin Avenue.
While the eatery is projected to open later this year, when, precisely, is not yet determined. As the lease is newly signed, it seems probable locals have a bit of a wait between them and Daily Provision’ cuisine.
Daily Provisions comes from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, the team behind Shake Shack and myriad other restaurant ventures. Founded in 2017, Daily Provisions has become an essential part of every neighborhood it joins, thanks in large part to its “all-day menu that fits the many needs of our hungry neighbors, with Coffee, Crullers and B.E.Cs in the morning, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and seasonal soups in the afternoon, a dinner menu inclusive of Roast Chicken and classic sides, and an array of bakery favorites.”
