One of the DMV’s favorite bagel chains is preparing to bring its beloved carbs to a new market. Call Your Mother, the incredibly successful self-proclaimed “Jew-ish” deli, is making its debut in Annapolis later this year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

Maryland will be welcoming its second Call Your Mother at 2574 Solomons Island Road as part of the Annapolis Harbour Center. The 1,500 square foot space has previously housed Fresh Green and Sole Comfort Footwear.

A precise opening date is not currently available for Call Your Mother’s Annapolis premiere, however co-owner Andrew Dana states that the deli intends to begin greeting customers by the end of the summer.

Speaking of the upcoming location, Dana states: “We are coming to a new market and we are excited to meet everybody.”

Call Your Mother first took the DMV by storm in 2018 when it opened its inaugural location in the Park View neighborhood of DC. The chain, owned and founded by Dana and his business partner and wife Daniela Moreira, has expanded to 20 locations across the region.

Call Your Mother has become an absolute staple of the DMV bagel scene thanks to its pairing of wit and commitment to delicious carbs. The website offers this insight into the company’s success: “We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we’re serious about bagels. With a *chef’s kiss* of honey, they’re somewhere between a classic NY-style bagel and the sweeter, Montreal-style bagels from our friends up North.”
