Ebbitt House, a spinoff of Clyde’s Restaurant Group’s DC-based Old Ebbitt Grill, will be coming to Virginia in 2025.

Clyde’s Restaurant Group signed a lease agreement with Comstock Holding Companies, a leading developer of mix-use properties, to open Ebbitt House at 1860 Reston Row Plaza, according to the company’s press release.

A spokesperson for Clyde’s Restaurant Group told What Now DC that construction for Ebbitt House will begin late next year. The restaurant will feature a different concept, but it will still be somehow similar to Old Ebbitt Grill.

“We’ve we’ve decided to open up something that’s going to be similar in the suburbs in the restaurant Virginia area, which is about 20 miles outside of DC, but calling it Ebbitt House, as opposed to Old Ebbitt Grill,” the spokesperson told What Now DC.

Clyde’s Restaurant Group considers Ebbitt House as the “first-ever expansion” of the Old Ebbitt Grill brand. It will feature a 300-seat indoor dining experience with two bars, a patio bar, and an outdoor area that could seat up to 125 guests.

The menu will include American classics offered at the Old Ebbitt Grill.
