A new DC restaurant is enjoying a renewed wave of progress and development. El Meson Espanol has applied for a liquor license and is preparing to make its regional debut in Adams Morgan, reports local media outlet PoPville.

El Meson Espanol currently has a liquor license under review with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration. The paperwork shows that the 1826 Columbia Road, N.W. space will have a seating capacity of 83 and a total occupancy load of 85. The application further states that the restaurant’s hours of operation will be Sunday through Thursday, from 10 am to 2 am and Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 3 am.

El Meson Espanol comes from the same team that brought DC El Rincon Espanol, to the same space. There is not a great deal of information about the concept available beyond these basic details; What Now DC has reached out to ownership for further specifics and will update readers as particulars come to light.
