An ambitious hospitality group is helping the DMV kick off 2026 with a delicious start, thanks to the opening of not one but two brand new restaurants. Episcope Hospitality is bringing wine bar Altitude and an all-day cafe called Constellation to National Landing early next year, reports Eater DC.

The concepts will be opening in a two-story storefront located at 2011 Crystal Drive. The neighborhood promises to be favorable for the establishments; Constellation and Altitude will be greeting guests close to Amazon HQ2.

While the businesses are connected through both theme-“golden age of travel and exploration”- and founding company, they are distinct and unique unto themselves. Altitude will prove a popular spot for hip locals eager to enjoy the burgeoning vinyl listening lounge scene while enjoying a glass of good wine. An in-house sommelier will be available to provide knowledge and guidance.

Hungrier locals can stop into Constellation to partake of its Mediterranean menu, overseen by celebrated chef Brad McDonald. David Morton, the founder of Episcope Hospitality, explains: “We all seem to crave Mediterranean [food], but we want to be able to go beyond that as well. The Mediterranean offers lots of options geographically.“

Constellation will even spare visitors a trip to the grocery store; the cafe will have a retail component.

DMV diners won’t have to wait much longer to stop into either location; both are slated to open in January of 2026.
