A beloved DC catering company is preparing to make a splash in the local dining scene. Alexis Starkey of Farm to Feast Catering will be opening a new concept called Fedwell in Petworth later this year, reports The List: Are You On It?.

Starkey will be opening what she describes as “a third place”, at 821 Upshur Street, NW. The space will also serve as a new home to Farm to Feast. While a precise opening date for Fedwell is not yet available, Starkey is hoping to begin serving guests this spring.

Fedwell’s opening will be a gradual process. Initially it will be open only for weekday happy hours, with long term plans to expand the schedule to include Saturday brunches and family-style dinners on Sundays.

Once Fedwell opens its doors, hungry guests can look forward to enjoying delicious seasonal cuisine, made with fresh ingredients. The menu will offer daily specials, as well as regular features like short-rib sliders and charcuterie boards.
