The healthy fast-casual revolution is in full-swing, and DMV diners are benefiting from the action. A newer Florida-based chain called Pura Vida Miami is bringing acai bowls, smoothies, and all day breakfast to Maryland, helping to tip the dining scales in a more nutritious direction, reports local media outlet The Burn.

A great deal of information is not currently available about the Potomac storefront beyond the general address. Pura Vida Miami will be joining the Cabin John Village shopping center located at 7919 Tuckerman Lane. The eatery will be neighboring an impressive selection of retail and dining establishments, certain to draw a large client base.

An opening timeline is not presently available for the Potomac Pura Vida Miami; What Now DC has reached out to ownership for additional information, but has not yet heard back.

Though Pure Vida Miami may be new to many DMV foodies, the brand has been serving up delicious and healthy dishes since 2012. Locals curious about what lies in store can feed their hunger for information with this insight from the website: “Omer & Jen Horev, the husband-wife duo behind Pura Vida Miami, have meticulously curated a menu that harmonizes nutritious and indulgent offerings. Their guiding principle is simple: they only serve food they would proudly feed their children, using only the highest-quality clean ingredients.”
