Ford’s Fish Shack will set up shop in a new spot in East Gate Marketplace in Chantilly, Virginia, relocating from its current location in South Rising Market Square which closed on Tuesday.

“This is a very tough announcement to make and we first want to thank all of our loyal guests, friends, family, and especially our employees (both past and current) for the past 10 1/2 years,” owners, Tony Stafford and Ana Aviles, posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page, adding that the new location will open in the Spring of 2024.

The New England-style restaurant, which specializes in serving fresh raw oysters, will reopen at 25411 Eastern Marketplace Plz., Ste. 100, according to Northern Virginia Magazine

“As sad as this is, it is also not a good bye, but a ‘we will be back soon’ in a new building that will be very cool and it will represent truly how a small business can grow from a tenant in a shopping center with an idea to a business that owns its own land, building and can now say we have no plans of ever leaving this community,” Stafford and Aviles wrote in the Facebook post.
