Pizza makes everything better, this is a scientifically proven fact. A good slice can brighten even the worst day, and luckily for DC residents, they will soon be able to enjoy one of the DMV’s best pies. Award-winning restaurant Andy’s Pizza is opening a new storefront on Connecticut Avenue.

The beloved pizzeria has applied for a liquor license for its new home at 1065 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W.  The paperwork filed with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration shows that Andy’s will have a full occupancy of 40, with 21 interior seats.

An opening timeline isn’t yet available for Andy’s Georgetown location, however What Now DC will be following the storefronts progress as updates become available.

Andy’s Pizza has made quite a name for itself since launching in McLean in 2018. Fueled by a range of traditional and specialty pies, the small but mighty chain has spread to 11 storefronts across the region. While DC residents have plenty of pizza options at their fingertips, Andy’s brings something special to the table-the website explains: “A 72-hour cold ferment gives our crust a unique crisp but soft bite with a touch of sourdough.” Guests will also be able to select from a variety of salads and appetizers.
