Spring is bringing warmer weather, blooming cherry blossoms, and a whimsical new bar to DC in 2024. Giggle Water, a collaboration between entrepreneur K. Scarry and Juicy Brewing, will be opening in the District later this year, reports popular Twitter feed @eat_dc.

The bar, described as “community-focused”, will be opening in Studio Theatre at 1333 P Street, NW. The facility will be able to house 125 customers. Giggle Water is eyeing a May opening, with plans to add outdoor patio seating capable of accommodating between 60 and 80 patrons sometime this summer.

Giggle Water sourced investments via crowdfunding. According to the establishment’s Mainvest page, the bar will hold a soft opening on May 1, with a July 1 grand opening to follow. Giggle Water, which promises to be a quirky, playful addition to Logan Circle, will specialize in sparkling wines, small-batch wines, handcrafted cocktails, and locally roasted specialty coffees. The bar will also serve beers from local breweries, including, of course, Juicy Brewing.
