A family-run bakery and cafe will be helping DC end 2024 on a sweet note. Good Company Doughnuts-already a DMV favorite-is opening a new location in the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center, reports local media outlet PoPville.

Paperwork filed with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration show that the cafe, located at 555 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 600, will have 66 seats, and a maximum interior capacity of 166. Additionally, Good Company will have a summer garden, with space to accommodate 50 guests.

While a precise opening date is not currently available, the bakery is aiming to open before the end of the year.

Good Company’s Johns Hopkins location will be open from 7 am to 8 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 7 am to 5 pm, Saturday through Monday.

The popular eatery, which focuses on serving the freshest and most delicious donuts possible, currently has three locations across the DMV-one in Ballston, another at National Landing, and a third spot at the DC Waterfront.
Speaking of bringing the concept’s signature sweets to a new home, co-owner Charles Kachadooorian tells Johns Hopkins University Hub: “The Good Company family is very excited to be joining Johns Hopkins University at the beautiful Hopkins Bloomberg Center. We are looking forward to getting to know our new neighbors and treating folks with the best food and drink we can make.”
