A chain that specializes in Asian street food is preparing to bring a second helping of its delicious cuisine to Virginia. Hawkers is opening a new location in Fairfax’s Mosaic District, reports local media outlet FFXNow.

Diners will be able to sample the concept’s fare at its new home at 8190 Strawberry Lane, Suite 1. Hawkers will be breathing new life into the space that housed Four Sisters for 30 years before that beloved restaurant closed in May of this year.

Signage has been hung at the Fairfax storefront, however an opening timeline for Hawkers’ new Virginia location is not currently available.

Future regulars who simply cannot wait to sample the chain’s fare can grab some dim sum from its Arlington location.

The Hawkers’ website explains its story and trajectory, stating: “It all started when four best friends with family roots in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and exotic…Winter Haven, Florida, decided to bring the bold flavors of Asian street food to the streets of Orlando in 2011. Ten years later, Hawkers Asian Street Food now spans multiple locations across the country.”

Diners can look forward to a menu full of authentic and delicious dishes, ranging from Bulgogi steak to satay chicken street skewers to chili garlic edamame.
