Loudoun County may soon get a taste of one of New York’s favorite chains. Dig, a fast-casual eatery with a healthy twist, is eyeing a prime spot at the One Loudoun shopping center, reports local media outlet The Burn.

Dig is looking into taking over 44375 Brimfield Drive, a spot occupied by Zoe’s Kitchen for eight years. Dig’s potential Loudoun debut is still in the extremely preliminary phases, making it impossible to estimate an opening timeline at the moment.

Dig first opened its doors in New York City in 2011. The restaurant specializes in customizable bowls and salads, made with locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. The corporate-owned brand has expanded to include 31 restaurants. While the lion’s share are in the greater New York area, Dig has a DC presence in Georgetown, as well as locations in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

Hungry Ashburn residents looking for a healthy option in a hurry can look forward to sampling Dig’s extensive menu. The restaurant serves fresh, nutritious dishes including maple cider tofu, hot honey chicken, spicy lime leaf salmon, and kale caesar salad. Additionally, guests can cobble together their own bowls, built up of a base, proteins, and sides.
