A Philly fast-casual concept with a healthy bent is deepening its roots in the DMV dining scene. Honeygrow is furthering its presence in the DC metro area by opening a location in Barcroft Plaza, reports local media outlet Annandale Today.
The concept, known for its made-to-order stirfries, will be opening at 6464 -A Lincolnia Road. According to the Federal Realty Investment Trust website, the space-which previously housed Chico’s Natural Pet Market-will provide Honeygrow with 2,576 square feet to greet and serve guests.
Falls Church diners can look forward to digging into the chain’s delicious and nutritious fare later this year; Amy DePaoli, Honeygrow’s Director of Marketing confirms to What Now DC that the brand is targeting a summer opening for the Barcroft location.
Founded in Philadelphia in 2012, Honeygrow has established a small but mighty presence in Virginia. The chain currently has four locations within the state-ones in Fairfax, Reston, Alexandria, and Vienna, with another due to open in Springfield in March.
Honeygrow invites visitors to curate their ideal dish by selecting from a variety of bases, proteins, veggies, and sauces. The eatery does offer certain house recipes, as well as sweet selections from its “honey bar”.
