A quickly expanding East Coast chain is preparing to serve up another helping of healthy, fast-casual cuisine to the DMV. Honeygrow, known for its fresh, made-to-order stirfries, has signed a lease for a new Glen Burnie storefront, reports QSR.

The Philadelphia-based concept will be feeding customers at 6653 Governor Ritchie Highway. Honeygrow will be joining several other retail establishments in the Governor’s Plaza shopping center, ensuring plenty of potential foot traffic.

What Now DC has reached out to a Honeygrow representative for an opening timeline, but has not yet heard back. However, the Glen Burnie restaurant is actively recruiting employees for the new location, suggesting locals may not have to wait too long to enjoy the eatery’s fare.

The Glen Burnie lease is one of four that Honeygrow has signed to start the year. Falls Church, Virginia, Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Montrose, Ohio have joined Glen Burnie as part of Honeygrow’s class of 2025.

Founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg explains that the chain has history with each of these regions and is enthusiastic about their potential. He states: “These new locations represent markets that have long supported our mission, and we are eager to continue growing with them.”

Founded in 2012, Honeygrow quickly developed an ardent fan base, thanks to its fully customizable stir-fries and salads. The brand has expanded to over 50 locations.
