Steak lovers take their beef incredibly seriously. They value good cuts prepared beautifully and settle for nothing less. Luckily for DC foodies, an acclaimed Vienna restaurant is preparing to bring its cuisine to the area, and its focus will be firmly on steak. Ingle Korean Steakhouse will be serving its celebrated fare to a whole new audience when it opens in the neighborhood.
The restaurant will be opening its second location at 1926 14th Street, N.W. Ingle Korean Steakhouse has applied for a liquor license and the paperwork filed with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration provides a little further insight into the eatery’s first DC home. The space will be able to seat up to 156 customers and will have a full occupancy load of 195. The listed hours of operation are 11 am to 2 am, Sunday through Saturday.
According to popular Twitter account @eat_dc, Ingle Korean Steakhouse is aiming for a November opening.
It is not yet clear whether or not the DC location will offer the same menu as Ingle’s Vienna storefront, however using the existing space as a template suggests that visitors will be able to choose from a prix-fixe menu or ala carte items. The company website states the restaurant’s over-arcing ethos, saying: “Ingle Korean Steakhouse was born from a love of the Korean grilling culture, a celebration of the ordinary and extraordinary moments in life.”
