Nothing surpasses a good burger, in terms of culinary excellence and satisfaction. Joia Burger, one of DC’s most innovative and delicious reimaginings of the American favorite, is making its way to Glover Park, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The concept, which has earned accolades from The Washington Post and Washingtonian Magazine, is moving into 2414 Wisconsin Avenue, NW. The space briefly but memorably housed Maharaja House of Biryani. An opening timeline is not currently available, however signage has appeared in the buildings windows, suggesting there’s cause for optimism for an early 2025 opening.

Joia Burger provides a unique spin on the beloved standard, offering guests the chance to enjoy wagyu smash burgers cultivated from the mind of renowned chef Patrice Cleary.

Joia Burger is still a relatively new addition to the DMV dining scene. The concept opened its first location in Mount Pleasant in spring of 2024, immediately earning considerable accolades, including being heralded as DC’s best new restaurant by Washington City Paper.

In addition to high-quality burgers, visitors can look forward to enjoying fries, Filipino fruit salad, and ube soft serve.
