A beloved McLean Italian restaurant is packing up its pots and pans and moving to a new location, rife with possibilities. Popular chain Maggiano’s Little Italy is relocating from its current home at Tysons Galleria to the nearby Tysons Corner Center, reports the Washington Business Journal.
Though the move to 1961 Chain Bridge Road is a small one spatially, the new location will make the restaurant more accessible to a greater number of diners and prospective customers. Maggiano’s precise location in the sprawling mall has not yet been announced, however a representative states it will occupy a space in the east end of the shopping center.
Maggiano’s vice president and chief concept officer Larry Konecny explains the motivation behind the move, stating “Maggiano’s Little Italy has made itself a part of the McLean community since its opening at Tysons Galleria. The move to Tysons Corner Center, albeit a short distance from each other, will allow our restaurant to be more accessible to commuters using the nearby Metro service and those joining festivities in the plaza.”
An opening timeline is not currently available for Maggiano’s move.
