An expanding bakery chain, popular among Francophiles and cafe enthusiasts alike, is continuing its DMV hot streak with a new area location. Maman is deepening its presence with a fresh storefront coming to K Street, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The eatery is setting up its next DC home at 1501 K Street, NW. Maman is providing the building with a new opportunity to serve fresh, delicious cuisine. The French infused cafe is taking over the space vacated by Cosi when it closed in July of 2022.

An opening date is not presently available for Maman’s upcoming McPherson Square storefront; What Now DC has reached out to management for further information and will update readers as details become available.

Maman has been steadily deepening its DMV presence over the past several years. The chain was founded in New York in 2014 and now has more than 50 locations open across the US and Canada.

The Maman menu offers diners plenty of options to enjoy, including pastries, quiche, sandwiches, soups, and salads.
