The team behind a small but thriving DMV Indian chain is preparing to debut their next great idea. Indochen Reston LLC entered the local scene with the aptly named Indochen, and now it is bringing Masti Indian Restaurant to the Reston Town Center, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The eatery will be cultivating the aromatic scents of fresh spices and biryani to 1825 Discovery Street, in a space that previously housed a Panera Bread. Locals will undoubtedly be delighted to see signs of life in the storefront again; the space has been empty since 2019.

While construction is underway on the restaurant, a great deal of information-including a precise opening timeline-is not presently available.

Masti Indian Restaurant has applied for a liquor license with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control authority. What little information is available about the eatery comes from this application; the owners are listed as Indochen Reston LLC and Ashok Tamang-both names associated with the Indochen restaurants. For the moment, the public will have to settle for the knowledge that the concept will be serving Indian food from an established and trusted team, who knows its way around a kitchen.
