There is exciting news on the horizon for DC travelers planning to fly the friendly skies. Mi Vida, one of the DMV’s top Mexican restaurants, is preparing to make trips out of the Reagan National Airport a little more delicious when it opens an outpost in the transportation center later this year, reports local media outlet ARLNow.

The celebrated eatery will be serving up margaritas and contemporary Mexican cuisine on concourse B of the 2401 Smith Boulevard airport. While there is not yet an opening date for travelers to circle on their calendars, a social media post from Mi Vida pertaining to the location states that it should be bringing “vibrant flavors, delicious cocktails, and the perfect start (or end!) to your travels” at some point this spring.

Mi Vida comes from the popular and prolific Knead Hospitality + Design group. The restaurant specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine interpreted by Chef Roberto Santibañez that is  “rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.”

Mi Vida currently has 3 locations open and operational -2 in DC and another in Virginia Beach-and a fourth coming to Philadelphia this winter.
