A DC-favorite restaurant group is preparing to set a table in Virginia Beach. Knead Hospitality + Design is opening a new location of Mi Vida, its popular Mexican concept, in the region next year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The acclaimed restaurant will be bringing its cuisine to the Atlantic Park mixed-use development. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Mi Vida will be debuting its fourth location-and first outside of DC-in the second quarter of 2025.

Knead has proven itself to be a powerful presence in the DC hospitality scene, earning acclaim from no less than the James Beard Awards, the bellwether of the industry.

Mi Vida served its first satisfied customer in 2018.The concept strives to craft dishes that honor Mexican cuisine, while allowing space for innovation. The company’s website describes its menu as: ”rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.”
