More Just Salad Heading to DC

The chain will be bringing nutritious and sustainable eats to the Golden Triangle

DC’s Golden Triangle is about to get a little greener, thanks to an assist from an expanding fast-casual brand. Just Salad, a chain committed to offering customers healthier options, has a location in the works for the neighborhood, set to open soon. 

 

The popular New York based chain will be serving its titular dish (alongside other non-salad offerings, despite what the name suggests) in a storefront located at 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. An opening timeline is not yet available for the restaurant, however Just Salad has this particular location listed under the “coming soon” section of its website.”Soon” is, of course, a nebulous term, and What Now DC will update readers as more specifics come to light. 

 

Just Salad helped usher in the new era of healthier options currently taking the fast-casual industry by storm. The chain opened its first storefront in New York City in 2006 and has made an indelible impression on the food scene since. Just Salad has enjoyed massive success owing to its simple but admirable driving principle, to “offer healthy, affordable, climate-conscious meals that are irresistibly delicious.”

 

Alongside the expected salads, customers can choose from a selection of market plates, warm bowls, wraps, and smoothies. Visitors with very particular tastes and visions can rest assures that all items are highly customizable.
