Crimson Coward Nashville Hot Chicken, a fast-casual concept with an expanding chain nationwide, will open a second Northern Virginia location.

The restaurant will open later in 2023 in Embrey Mill Town Center, according to WTOP News

The Restaurant Management Group Mid-Atlantic will operate Crimson Coward Nashville Hot Chicken’s Stafford location. The group plans to open 25 locations in Northern Virginia and at least four other spots in Maryland.

The restaurant has an ambitious expansion plan to open some 200 locations in the United States by 2027. 

Crimson Coward serves various homestyle sandwiches, fries, and its signature chicken.

What Now DC reached out to John A. Filipak, President of Restaurant Management Group Mid-Atlantic, and it has yet to hear back.
