A java heavy hitter may soon be pouring fresh cups in Gainesville. A Starbucks is likely to join three other retail shops at a developing area commercial center, according to local media outlet Inside NOVA.
The cafe is still in the extremely preliminary stages. The prospective Starbucks will be moving into a rezoned lot on Route 29, across from Carver Road. Wright Partners, LLC, is spearheading the development of the project. The Prince William Board of County Supervisors has signed off on the undertaking, praising the proposal as a good fit for the location.
It is impossible to estimate an opening date at this point, however Gainesville residents are unlikely to enjoy a steaming cup of coffee from Starbucks anytime too soon. The plans only recently gained approval and a great deal of development needs to occur because the first bean can be brewed.
In addition to Starbucks, an AutoZone has also been thrown out as a likely occupant for the shopping center. Two other unnamed businesses will round out the tenant list.
